Choki Yuden is a Student Service Officer in Paro College of Education. She completed her BHSEC from Kelki Higher Secondary School in 2010. She was appointed as Audio Visual Assistant in May 2010. In July 2011 she was transferred from Audio Visual to Library. In June 2019 she joined as Student Service Officer till date.

Dawa Pem is working as a Deputy Chief ICT Officer at Paro College Education, she has started working in Paro College of Education since Janurary, 2008. She has completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Applications from Madras University, July 2007. She secured AusAID Scholarship to study Masters of Information Technology at Murdoch University, Western Australia from 2015 to 2016.
She is an active member of the college management committee and College Tender committee. She was also the member of PQC from 2012 to 2014. She is one of the team member in developing the internet user policy and VLE user policy for the colleges under RUB.

Kinzang Lhendup joined teaching in 1991 after completing his B.Ed from the erstwhile National Institute of Education, Samtse, Bhutan. He specialized in secondary English and Geography. He was posted in Ngangla Junior High School, and in less than six months he was recognized for his potential for leadership and was appointed as the officiating headmaster of the school. He served as the head of three different schools till June 1995 when he was summoned by the Education Ministry to take up the task of coordinating and leading English section of the Curriculum and Professional Support Service Division in the Ministry. It was during that time, in mid-nineties when he identified reading as a niche area for the Education Ministry to work on in order to enhance academic competence of students across the country. Consequently, Supplementary Reading Programme, his own brain-child was conceived and introduced, which is thriving to this day.
His keen interest in helping students’ readings skills and literature encouraged him to pursue masters in Library and Information Studies from Dalhousie University in Canada. Kinzang’s strong belief in access to literature as the key to reading development encouraged him to pioneer in automating the libraries in the constituent colleges under the Royal University of Bhutan. He has provided his know-how in the automation of Sherubtse’ College’s library, and did a detailed planning of the existing PCE’s library automation. After serving in the college library for 10 plus years he decided to switch back to teaching, and so pursued his second masters’ degree in Contemplative Education from Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado, US. Today, Kinzang is experimenting with contemplation, mindful meditation, Buddhist inspired pedagogies in managing classrooms, motivating students.

Kinley Dorji, PhD, is a teacher educator and a linguist. He started his teaching career as a teacher educator in 2003 at the Paro College of Education. Since then, he has been teaching both undergraduate and post graduate courses at the college. His subjects of specialization include English Education, Applied Linguistics, Research and other professional subjects related to teacher education. He has also developed training courses in English education and research and trained school teachers in the area of English education and research. Besides teaching educational research method modules in the post graduate courses, he has also supervised M.Ed. thesis for the school leaders in Bhutan. He served as a member of the Higher Degree Research Committee of the Royal University of Bhutan (2013-2015), and also as an external examiner to the English Degree programme at the Sherabtse College (2015-2017). He has conducted extensive research on Dzongkha, Dzongkha tones and segments, borrowing in Dzongkha, Sociolinguistics of Dzongkha, among others. His research in education includes gender differences in learning English, Academic writing, and language pedagogy. At present, he is a member of the National Dzongkha Language Expert Committee and an editor to the Asian Scholars Network – Journal of Qualitative Social Sciences’ (based in Bangladesh).
