Tempa Gyeltshen

Professional biography

 

 

Tempa Gyeltshen graduated in 2014 from Samtse College of Education majored in English and History. He pursued Bachelor Degree in Education (B.Ed) and started teaching at Tendruk Central School in Samtse district. He carried out extra work as a Taekwondo Coach back at the school. He was awarded the Dan Certificate in Taekwondo in 2016. He was certified as a Taekwondo National Assistant Instructor and Taekwondo National Referee Class C in 2016. He resigned from teaching profession in 2017 and joined Royal University of Bhutan (RUB) under Bhutan University Sports Federation (BUSF) formerly Royal University Sports Federation of Bhutan (RUSFoB) as a Coordinator centered at Paro College of Education. He pursued Taekwondo National Instructor Certificate and Taekwondo National Referee Class B in 2018. In 2019, he was certified by International Kung-fu Council, 3rd Dan in Kun-fu and Official Certificate to train Kung-fu. He joined student service section at Paro College of Education from 17th May, 2019. Currently, he serves the college as a Student Service Officer and train Paro College Taekwondo Team. He is a Moderator for YPEER Network of the college. He is also attending Counselling Training to be certified as a Counsellor at Happiness & Wellbeing Center of the college.
