On 1st September, 2026 PCE formally welcomes its newly appointed President, Dr. Phuntsho Wangdi. The day commenced with a formal reception by the college management, faculty, staff, and student representatives.
To mark the auspicious transition, a traditional Tendril Ceremony and Zhug-dral Phün-sum Tshog-pa were observed at the Inner Science Education and Research Library for blessings.
The college fraternity, along with distinguished guests and family members, later gathered at the President’s Office to offer Tashi Khadar and express their institutional support.
A cultural program was also featured during today’s event to welcome the new president. Following the lunch for all, the event successfully concluded with Tashi Lebay.
We extend our warmest congratulations to Dr. Phuntsho Wangdi for his role as a president in PCE.
