Dawa Pem is a lecturer at Paro College of Education, Royal University of Bhutan. She initially joined the college in January 2008 and served as the deputy chief ICT officer through 2023, during which she contributed significantly to college governance and co-developed the university-wide Internet and VLE user policies. In 2024, she transitioned into academics as a lecturer following an open competitive selection. She holds a Bachelor’s in Computer Applications from Madras University (2007) and earned her Master of Information Technology from Murdoch University, Australia (2016), as an AusAID scholar.
