During a campus visit today, the Vice Chancellor had an engaging session with the students. Discussing the core philosophy of higher education, he emphasised PCE’s vital responsibility in preparing the next generation of teachers and educators for the nation. Furthermore, he outlined the university’s forthcoming Zero Drug Policy, emphasizing that RUB maintains zero tolerance against bullying and alcohol misconduct.
The Vice Chancellor also presented Certificates of Recognition and cash prizes to three students from PCE. The students were honored with the Vice Chancellor’s Reading Excellence Award 2025-2026 for their dedication to reading.
Later that afternoon, the Vice Chancellor convened a separate meeting with the college faculty and staff, highlighting some recent developments and institutional reforms across the university. He also stated about the review of the student assessment, particularly concerning the use of AI. Lastly, he reinforced the need to align pedagogy and curriculum to ensure the academic quality and success.
The Vice Chancellor encouraged the staff to extend full support to the incoming President, emphasizing that working together as a unified team is essential to driving positive organizational change.
