(Applications for PgDE Dzongkha programme)<\/span><\/p>\n

Paro College of Education would like to invite applications from interested and eligible candidates for the Postgraduate Diploma in Education (Dzongkha) programme<\/strong> for the February 2024 intake on self-financed mode. Interested candidates should fulfill the following entry requirements.<\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Aspiring candidates should possess an academic qualification of a Bachelor degree in Dzongkha or Rigzhing from a recognized university\/college.<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Aspiring candidates should have achieved a minimum of 55% aggregate mark in the bachelor degree programme.<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Aspiring candidates will have to appear for a written proficiency test and a viva-voce as per the following tentative schedule.<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. The written proficiency test will be based on contents from Rigzhung such as Dayig, Ngagdroen, Sumtag, Nyen ngag, Gyalsey laglen, Sheytring, Choedjug and Uma.<\/em> Candidates must score at least 50% in the written test to be eligible for the viva-voce.<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. The viva-voce will test their Dzongkha communication skills, motivation for teaching, Bhutanese values, and creative and analytical skills.<\/span><\/li>\n
  6. Candidates will be merit ranked as per their performances in the following areas.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    1. The top 40 candidates will be selected.<\/span><\/li>\n
    2. The PgDE programme duration is 18 months or three semesters with effect from February 2024. The fee per semester is Nu. 50,859.00<\/strong>, payable to the college accounts at the beginning of each semester.<\/span><\/li>\n
