He started his career as a teacher in July 1995. Prior to joining the college, he served in Ugyen Dorji Higher Secondary School (1995 \u2013 1997) and Gyelpozhing Higher Secondary School (1998 till February 1999) teaching Chemistry and Physics to the students. He joined Paro College of Education as a teacher educator in March 1999 and since then he has taught Science Education, Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Education and professional modules namely Skills for Effective Teaching, Assessment and evaluation, and Teaching skills to the students. In addition to his teaching responsibilities in the college, he has worked as the Head of Department for ICT (2008 &#8211; 2011) during which he led his teacher educator colleagues in streamlining the ICT modules and professional development in the ICT department in collaboration with the professors from NIE, Singapore (2008-2011). \u00a0From 2012 to 2015, he served the college as the Head of the School (HoS) for Bachelor Studies for a period of three and half years during which he managed the B.Ed programme as desired.
