Paro College of Education hosted an international meeting organized from 27 January to 1 February 2017, in the framework of the project “Blended Learning Courses for teacher educators between Asia and Europe (BL_TEAE)”. A total of 22 participants from eight partner countries (Pakistan, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Denmark, France, Belgium, Estonia and Bhutan) participated in the meeting. Paro and Samtse colleges of education are the members of the project. The meeting was organised mainly to take stock of the activities implemented during the 1st year and further plan for the 2nd and 3rd years. The project team members will soon organise workshops on blended learning for the faculty. As a part of this project, the College will also soon set up a Blended Learning Project Lab where faculty could use the facilities to develop online teaching-learning tools such as video and ePortfolio.  We are also glad to inform all educators in Bhutan that the project will soon make 20 modules related to technological and pedagogical training available in Moodle by the beginning of March 2018.  All interested educators (as many as possible) will have to register (Please contact Kezang Sherab, national project coordinator at kezangsherab.pce@rub.edu.bt) to access the Moodle. To remind ourselves once again, the main project goal is to – support the professional development and learning of educators through a Blended Learning Approach.
