Mr. Kezang Tshering took over from Mr. Kezang Sherab as the new programme leader for the M. Ed programme (Masters in Education) at the Paro College of Education in April 2010.

 

Mr. Kezang Tshering joined the Paro College of Education in 1999 as a lecturer and became the first B Ed course leader. He served inexorably for four years as the course leader and then took over as the APU (Academic Programme Unit) coordinator in 2005. He also served as the officiating Dean for student affairs in the college from April 2008 till autumn 2009.

The new programme leader is already set on his fresh endeavour with absolute zeal. While he wants all the current M Ed students of the programme to know of the change, he requests everyone, who has queries pertaining to the courses offered, to get in touch with him anytime. He hopes to cater to all needs of the students in the best promising way.

 

Future aspirants will also be delighted to know that the Paro College of Education is bringing forth diversification in its programmes in the near future. M.Ed in Primary Mathematics will begin in 2013, M.Ed in Primary English in 2014, M.Ed in Dzongkha in 2015 and M.Ed in Special Education in 2017.

 

There are so many tasks ahead and the tasks at hand to deal with, but with Mr Kezang Tshering’s aptitude and attitude the Paro College of Education is confident that he will spearhead the M Ed programme to prosperity.
