The
Graduation Day was marked by an air
of solemnity where the hard the work
done over the past three years
finally saw its fruition. Amidst the
recognition of student teachers who
were nominated for various prize
categories, this sombre occasion was
punctuated by dances rehearsed to
perfection by the troupe of student
teachers who would leave for
Kolkata as a part of the student
exchange programme.
Among the general category of
awards, the General Proficiency
Awards went to Mr. Buddha Kr. Rai
III EPB (Primary) and Ms.Pasang
Wangmo Sherpa, IIIEIT
(Secondary). The coveted awards were
in the categories of ‘Teacher as A
Social Animator’ award and the ‘The
Best Student-Teacher of 2008-2011’
award.
 
The deserving candidates who bagged
those prestigious awards were Ms.
Yeshey Choden of III DP (Teacher
as a Social Animator) and
Mr. Gyeltshen, (0901817) of
IIIMP (The Best
Student-Teacher of 2009-2011).
Unlike the past years, this years
Graduation Ceremony started in the
comfortable hours of the morning. The
event concluded with some parting words
from the Director followed by a
sumptuous lunch around the hostel
premises.
